A former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has dismissed allegations of money laundering and abuse of office leveled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
He described the alleged duplication in the recovery process of the $310 million (later $322.5 million with interest) Abacha loot, as “baseless, illogical, and wholly devoid of substance.”
