The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has rejected a request by the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria, DAPPMAN, to raise the price of petrol and diesel by ₦75 per litre.
In a statement on Thursday, the refinery said the marketers wanted the increase to enable them to sell products from their depots at higher rates, instead of lifting directly from its gantry.
