Nigeria: CP Baba Azare vows to tackle crime in Akwa Ibom — Africa Links 24

In a move to restore peace and security in Akwa Ibom State, the newly-appointed Commissioner of Police, Baba Mohammed Azare fsi, has pledged to tackle the rising wave of crime in the state.

He spoke when he paid a courtesy visit to the state governor, Umo Eno, at the Government House in Uyo.

Mr Azare assured the governor of his commitment to collaborating with other security agencies with a view to ensuring peace and security prevail in the state.
