Nigeria: Court strikes out adultery case against Jigawa Commissioner over plaintiff’s absence to prove police findings — Africa Links 24

An Upper Shari’a Court sitting at Kofar Kudu in Kano State has struck out a case against Auwal Danladi Sankara, Jigawa State commissioner of Special Duties, over allegations of adultery with a married woman.

DAILY NIGERIAN reports that the Kano State Hisbah operatives recently arrested Mr Sankara and took him to custody after one Nasiru Buba complained that the commissioner was having extra-marital affair with his wife, Tasleem Nabegu.
