Some members of the Niger State Judiciary have expressed concern over an alleged delay in the appointment of High Court Judges for Niger State by the National Judicial Commission, NJC.

Recall that on May 5, the NJC had published a list of judicial officers recommended for appointment to the superior court of records.

The appointments are anticipated to fill vacant positions in the High Court and Sharia Court of Appeal Benches.
