The Bauchi State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has dismissed allegations linking Governor Bala Mohammed and some of his appointees to the financing of terrorism, describing the claims as baseless and politically motivated.
In a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Rev. Abraham Dimeus, and Secretary, Rev. Matthew Laslimbo, CAN said the allegations were malicious and aimed at tarnishing the image of both the governor and Bauchi State.
