Nigeria: British teenager sues his parents for tricking him into travelling to Ghana

A 14-year-old teenager recently won a legal battle against his parents in Britain whom he accused of tricking him into travelling to Ghana and preventing him from returning home, the country’s media reported.

The unnamed teenager and his lawyers told a London Court of Appeal that a few years ago, he was tricked by his parents into flying to Ghana under the pretext of visiting a sick relative, only to be enrolled at a boarding school in the African country.
