The Chairman of the Borno Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Amb. Abdulkareem Haruna, has called for increased investment in radio infrastructure, including improved coverage and accessibility, particularly in remote and underserved areas, as the state recovers from over a decade of Boko Haram insurgency.

This call was contained in a press statement signed by the council secretary, Ali Chiroma, and made available to journalists in Maiduguri on Thursday.
