Nigeria: Benue APC chieftain assassinated — Police — Africa Links 24

The Police Command in Benue has confirmed the assassination of an All Progressive Congress, APC, chieftain in Otukpo Local Government Area.

The command’s spokesperson, DSP Udeme Edet, told newsmen on Monday in Makurdi that the victim, Ejeh Udeh, was killed in the early hours of Monday in Ondo, Ugboji Community of Otukpo LGA.

Mr Edet said that the assassins attacked and shot the politician at close range, and he died on the spot.
