Nigeria: Bauchi govt. announces temporary closure of public, private schools — Africa Links 24

The Bauchi State Government has announced the closure of primary, secondary and higher institutions across the state over the rising insecurity in the Northern Regions.

This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Bauchi late Sunday by Jalaludeen Usman, the Public Relations Officer, Bauchi state Ministry of Education.

According to him, the closure of schools affects state, private and federal government owned schools with immediate effect.
