Katsina State Government said over 100 personnel of the state-owned security outfit, Community Watch Corps have died in active service since the assumption of the administration.
The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr Nasir Muazu, made the disclosure in a statement, on Monday.
He said more than 30 police officers have also paid the ultimate price, and several soldiers lost their lives in the line of duty.
