Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade Asake has officially parted ways with Olamide’s YBNL Nation, confirming speculation surrounding his departure.

Asake announced his exit by releasing his latest single, “Why Love”, under his own label, Giran Republic.

Although rumors of a rift between Asake and Olamide had been circulating, Asake had seemingly silenced them with his previous single, “Military”, which paid homage to Olamide.
