The All Progressives Congress (APC) Diaspora Chairman for the Italy Chapter, Prince Chima Ibezim, has called on party leaders and stakeholders in Enugu to address the crisis currently affecting the party in the state. In a statement released in Lagos on Friday, Ibezim, who also serves as the Financial Director of the APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (CDC), emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among party members to strengthen the party in Enugu and the entire South East region.

Expressing regret over the ongoing crisis within the Enugu chapter of the APC, Ibezim urged all parties involved to prioritize peace and avoid actions that could further divide the party. He encouraged members to support and cooperate with dedicated leaders within the South East region to bolster the APC’s presence and influence in the area. Ibezim specifically highlighted the contributions of key leaders such as the Commissioner representing Enugu State in the Federal Character Commission, Ginika Tor, in supporting the party’s goals and objectives.

Recognizing the efforts of prominent figures like President Bola Tinubu in promoting unity within the party, Ibezim stressed the importance of a united South-East region that can maximize the benefits of the current administration. He called on influential leaders like the Minister of Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, Governor Hope Uzodinma, and the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum to leverage their positions to address the challenges facing the Enugu chapter of the APC.

The Enugu chapter of the APC has been embroiled in a crisis following a vote-of-no-confidence passed on the party Chairman, Mr Ugochukwu Agballah, by stakeholders. Ibezim’s plea for unity and cooperation among party members and leaders reflects the growing need for reconciliation and conflict resolution within the party to ensure its continued progress and success in Enugu and the South East.

Moving forward, Ibezim’s call for unity and peace within the APC serves as a reminder of the importance of solidarity and collaboration in achieving the party’s objectives. By working together to address internal conflicts and strengthen leadership structures, the APC in Enugu can overcome its current challenges and emerge as a stronger, more cohesive political force in the region.

Ultimately, Prince Chima Ibezim’s message resonates with the need for commitment and cooperation among party members to navigate through challenging times and build a more robust foundation for the APC’s future growth and success. By heeding his advice and prioritizing unity and peace, the APC in Enugu and the South East can overcome obstacles and work towards a more prosperous and united political landscape.
