Nigeria: APC adopts Gov. Oyebanji as consensus candidate — Africa Links 24

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has adopted the consensus option to select its governorship candidate for the October 27 primary election in Ekiti State.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, on Tuesday.

Mr Morka said the decision followed the voluntary withdrawal of one of the two cleared aspirants, Atinuke Omolayo, leaving the incumbent Governor Biodun Oyebanji as the sole contender.
