Nigeria: Amaechi urges ADC to zone Presidency to South — Africa Links 24

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has called on the African Democratic Congress, ADC, to zone its presidential ticket to the South ahead of the next general election.

Mr Amaechi said the party may face difficulties convincing voters in southern Nigeria if it fields a northern presidential candidate, urging the ADC leadership to carefully consider the realities of power rotation in the country.
