Nigeria: ADC national assistant secretary resigns, quits party

As the 2027 general elections approach, the National Assistant Secretary of the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC), Hassan Muhammadu, has resigned his position and renounced his membership of the party.

The resignation was contained in a letter dated September 9, 2026, and addressed to the Chairman of the ADC in Bojude Ward, Kwami Local Government Area of Gombe State. A copy of the letter was made available to our correspondent on Sunday.
