Ladi Sandra Adamu, a renowned lecturer and the first professor of broadcast journalism in Nigeria, has died at the age of 67.

Ms Adamu, who was a lecturer at the Department of Mass Communication in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, died on Wednesday at the National Hospital, Abuja, after a protracted illness.
