Bandits who kidnapped Hauwa’u Adamu, mother of a famous Hausa musician, Dauda Adamu, popularly known as Rarara, have reportedly demanded a ransom of N900m for her release.

A close family source told the Daily Trust that the abductors of the elderly woman called the family and initially demanded N1bn as ransom.
