Nigeria: 8 missing policemen found dead, death toll rises to 11 — Africa Links 24

The corpses of eight policemen earlier declared missing after an ambush in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State have been recovered, bringing the death toll from the attack to eleven.

The ambush, which occurred at Agu Centre on the Katsina-Ala/Ukum border, targeted a joint security patrol team comprising operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, the Benue State Civil Protection Guard, BSCPG, and the Special Intervention Squad, SIS.
