The traditional title holder of Ajiyan Sokoto, Alhaji Umar I. Ajiya, has denied the Ajiyan Sokoto governorship rumours circulating in some quarters that he is planning to contest the Sokoto governorship election in 2027.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Spokesman to Ajiyan Sokoto, Bashir Ahmad Danmalam, a copy of which was made available to The Punch on Monday night.
