The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, of sending the Nigeria Police to harass and prevent them from holding its National Executive Council, NEC, meeting.

DAILY POST reports that the meeting was scheduled to hold on June 30, 2025.

The police had earlier taken over the party’s secretariat at Wadada Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, the venue of the meeting.

“Federal Police and other security agencies, on the orders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are harassing Board of Trustees members and staff of our party’s National Secretariat in a bid to stop the scheduled meeting,” PDP said in a post on X.
