As part of the partnership, the bank has committed Sh6 million to support the 2024 Kenya Golf Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) Series, with the funds designated for enhancing cash awards for amateur golfers. Additionally, the Junior Golf Foundation Kenya received Sh12 million for the 2024 Junior Golf Series events, aimed at supporting junior golf development in the country.
The announcement of the partnership was made at the launch of this year’s KAGC series and the JGF tournaments at the Sigona Golf Club. Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba commended the partnership as a significant step in the elevation of golf in the country, emphasizing NCBA’s generous financial support for both KGU and JGF.
