Former president and uMkhonto weSizwe Party leader Jacob Zuma had strong words for men who spend their time drinking instead of helping rebuild South Africa.

Speaking to supporters in Richmond outside Pietermaritzburg, Zuma said men who are always drunk are dragging down the country’s progress.

“We have a problem of men who are always drunk. How are we going to solve the problems of this country if we are always drunk? This alcoholic habit must come to an end,” he said.
