Katrina Geises (50) was denied bail by the Otjiwarongo Magistrate’s Court on Monday afternoon, when she made her first court appearance in a case of attempted murder.
She was arrested at Otjiwarongo in the Otjozondjupa region on Friday for allegedly stabbing her ex-boyfriend with a knife once on the left side of the chest.
Magistrate Billy Lutaka informed Geises of her legal right to engage a private lawyer of her choice, defend herself in court or apply for a state-funded lawyer…
