Residents of Karibib were without water on Friday following a disruption in the raw water supply to the Karibib Purification Plant, the Namibia Water Corporation (NamWater) confirmed on Friday.
According to the national water utility, the interruption was caused by accidental damage to the raw water pipeline by an external contractor working on behalf of the Karibib Town Council.
