The official opposition party, Popular Democratic Movement (PDM), dismissed a recent Afrobarometer survey that placed Swapo’s presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, at a commanding lead with 50,8% support.

PDM leader McHenry Venaani says the results of the survey are unreflective of the true political climate in Namibia.
