Namibia: Venaani retains PDM presidency – Politics

Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) president McHenry Venaani has been re-elected as the party’s president.

Venaani revealed on his WhatsApp status on Saturday night that he was given another five-year mandate during the PDM’s electoral congress.

“I am humbled to have been elected unopposed as the party president and the presidential candidate of our movement,” he said.

Meanwhile, member of parliament Jennifer van den Heever has been elected as the party’s vice president.
