Usakos mayor Irene Kurtz says she is positive about the Erongo region town’s election mood and atmosphere ahead of the regional council and local authority elections on Wednesday.

She describes the mood as calm and peaceful.

Her wish is for voters who are far from polling stations, especially senior citizens, to be assisted with transport by those who are able to do so.
