Ugandan journalist Blanshe Musinguzi was crowned African Investigative Journalist of the Year in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Thursday.

With a total of 158 entries from investigative journalists across Africa, Musinguzi won with his story ‘How Congo Trees are Smuggled through East Africa’.
