The Ministry of Mines and Energy say two earthquakes occurred over the weekend.
One occurred approximately 27km south west of Gross Barmen on 9 November at 09h03, and another south west of Opuwo on 10 November.
This was confirmed by a press statement released on Monday.
According to the statement, the two events were recorded by eight local seismic stations from Gobabis, Windhoek, Kamanjab, Rundu, Katima Mulilo, Opuwo, Aus and Ariamsvlei.
