Namibia: Trigon Metals delays salary payments to Kombat Mine staff

Employees of Kombat Mine, owned by Canadian company Trigon Metals, did not receive their salaries on Wednesday.

Some employees, who spoke to The Namibian on condition of anonymity, said management failed to communicate the salary delay.

“They should have just issued a memo to say what’s going on, but there was silence,” said a staff member who opted not to be named due to fear of victimisation.
