Namibia: Three years on, former Air Namibia workers still demand full severance payments – Africa Links 24

A group of Air Namibia employees took part in a demonstration in Windhoek on Thursday, demanding the payment of their full severance packages.

The group is among 600 Air Namibia employees affected by the national airline’s liquidation in 2021, which left many unemployed and struggling to find jobs.

Group spokesperson Renier Bougard, who worked for the company for 23 years, said the liquidators are prolonging their full payments which were agreed to under oath.
