The National Genocide Remembrance Day will be commemorated on 28 May at the Parliament Gardens in Windhoek.

This year’s event is taking place without an official logo or theme, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology has announced.

Delivering the seventh Cabinet decision-making meeting briefing on Thursday, information minister Emma Theofelus said preparations are well underway for the national commemoration.
