Swapo candidate Paulus Nekundi won Otjiwarongo’s by-election on Tuesday.
Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) returning officer Melody Muesee on Wednesday announced that Nekundi is Otjiwarongo’s duly elected new constituency councillor.
Muesee said Nekundi won with 3 235 votes, followed by Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) candidate Ernst Muraranganda with 810 votes.
