Swapo secretary general Sophia Shaningwa says the party had no idea that labour minister Utoni Nujoma met with Zimbabwean president Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Nujoma met with Mnangagwa, the current chairperson of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), for a “private visit” at state house in Harare on Friday.

Shaningwa told The Namibian yesterday Swapo was unaware of the meeting and its details.

“I have no idea,” Shaningwa said.
