The Walvis Bay police are calling on the public to help them track down a suspect who reportedly stabbed a man in Kuisebmond on Sunday. Erongo police spokesperson Warrant Officer Tuyenikelao Tashiya stated that a 28-year-old man was assaulted with a sharp object, believed to be a knife or a broken bottle, by an unidentified individual.
The victim suffered open wounds on his right shoulder and right upper ribs as a result of the attack. Police responded to the scene, and the victim was promptly transported to the hospital. Although his condition is described as stable, it is also considered critical due to the severity of his injuries. The incident took place around 01h30 at the intersection of Pluto and Kabeljou streets.
