Namibia: Stampriet farmer pockets N$520 000 at bull auction – National

A Stampriet farmer walked away with some of the highest prices at the G8 Bonsmara auction on Tuesday.

The auction took place at the Agra/Bank Windhoek Ring, with Tristone Business Trust’s Joggie Briedenhann presenting five bulls.

Of the five, two bulls were sold for N$180 000 and another sold for N$160 000.

In total, Briedenhann walked away with N$520 000.

Briedenhann says he expected his bulls to attract buyers because of their breeding traits and what farmers are looking…
