The Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL) has commended the government for postponing the implementation of a planned electricity tariff increase to June next year.
In a media statement issued on Friday, SPYL spokesperson Moses Shikerete said the cancellation of the 8% electricity tariff hike brings relief and hope to Namibians.
“The SPYL and its entire membership appreciates the great gesture,” he said.
