Award-winning investigative journalist Sonja Smith has pledged to continue her work in journalism after her bid to enter parliament through the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) fell short.
PDM, which suffered a significant loss in the 2024 presidential and National Assembly elections, secured only 5 seats, leaving Smith, who was listed 11th on the party’s parliamentary list, without a spot in the legislature.
