Namibia: Simataa issues directive for civil servants elected to National Assembly to resign – News

Secretary to Cabinet George Simataa has instructed executive directors and chief regional officers to make sure public servants who were elected in the 2024 National Assembly elections have resigned from their positions.

In a circular on Thursday, Simataa said these resignations should have been effective the day they were officially announced as elected.
