The police have arrested seven people for possession of cannabis and mandrax across the country over the weekend.
This was revealed in a police report by national police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi on Sunday.
She said three suspects, aged 25, 25 and 30, were arrested at Takarania location at Mariental in possession of cannabis (skunk and pure) at a combined value of N$2 900.
“The suspects were arrested during a stop and search,” she said.
