Namibia: Security association confirms wage increase, seeks compliance – National

The Namibia Security Labour Forum (NSLF) and the Security Association of Namibia (SAN) have confirmed a wage increase for security guards, as gazetted by the government on Thursday.

This follows the signing of a wages order agreement between SAN and the government in December.

In a speech delivered on his behalf, SAN president Dhiginina Uutaapama announced a new wage of N$13.50 per hour, effective 1 January.
