Namibia: Scammer targeting MTC customers with fake ‘lucky draw’ – Africa Links 24

A fraudster pretending to be from Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) is targeting the public, calling them with a fake promotion.

The scammer, who said his name is Simon Petrus, is alleging that MTC customers have been entered into a draw to win N$5 000 after recharging their cellphone airtime.
