The Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP) wants to reduce Namibia’s seal population by half if it wins the upcoming elections.
Speaking at the party’s recent manifesto launch at Ongwediva, RDP presidential candidate Mike Kavekotora said the move will increase revenue from the fisheries industry by 100% and create 40 000 jobs.
