THE eight parliamentarians appointed by president Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah were sworn in as members of parliament on Saturday.

They are former defence minister Frans Kapofi, medical doctor Esperance Luvindao, former ambassador Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, former education executive director Sanet Steenkamp, Ericha Shafudah, Albert Hengari and Fillemon Immanuel.

They were sworn in by chief Justice Peter Shivute.
