Namibian Police inspector general Joseph Shikongo has urged drivers and road users to be attentive as they return from their holidays.

Shikongo was speaking during a visit to the Windhoek-Okahandja roadblock on Tuesday, where he advised tourists and road users to adhere to road safety measures.

“We want to caution our people to exercise consciousness as they are driving and preparing their journey back to their destinations,” he said.
