The Namibian Police spokesperson, deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, has confirmed that the body discovered at Okahandja’s Five Rand location is that of 15-year-old Beyonce Kharuxas.
Shikwambi said the teenager is believed to have been raped before being murdered.
Speaking on Sunday morning, Shikwambi said Kharuxas had gone to a bar with her friends at around 22h00 on Friday evening. While at the bar, they were joined by two men who bought them alcohol.
