Namibia: Oshana records 12% crime reduction – News

The Oshana region has recorded a 12% reduction in overall reported crime, with 12 484 cases reported in the year under review.

Notably, rape and domestic violence cases have declined by 7.1%, with 39 rape cases and 130 domestic violence cases reported during the period.

This is according to Oshana governor Hofni Iipinge during the state of the region address at Oshakati on Friday.
