A major discovery of oil and natural gas has been made in Namibian waters.
The National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor), with partners Galp Energia (80% operator) and Custos (10%), have announced the discovery of significant hydrocarbon potential at the Mopane-2A well in Petroleum Exploration Licence 83, located in the Orange Basin, offshore Namibia.
