NAMIBIA’S key dams have experienced notable increases in water levels following recent rainfall, according to the latest dam bulletin issued by the Namibia Water Corporation (NamWater) on Thursday.
NamWater spokesperson Lot Ndamanomhata in the dam bulletin said the Hardap Dam has experienced a strong inflow of 1004.6 million cubic metres (Mm³)/second, bringing the water capacity of the dam to 35.9%.
This represents an increase from the 24.3% recorded on Monday.
